Idealangues was recently created by Yohann Duchatelle, an experienced French as a foreign language teacher qualified with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Modern Foreign Languages.

Based in Lille since 2004 after spending more than 8 years abroad, Yohann prepares made to measure French courses (1to1 lessons) so that you make the most of your short stay – from one day to a week – in Lille. Home meals can also be arranged. You will continue progressing with your French while enjoying traditionnal French cuisine!

Choosing Lille and Idéalangues for a French course in France

European capital of culture in 2004, Lille is 90 minutes away from London, 60 minutes from Paris, 40 minutes from Brussels by train, and has the Lille Lesquin international airport. It is the 4th biggest French city behind Paris, Marseille and Lyon.

Idealangues is located very close to the city centre, at a 10 minutes walk from the Lille Eurostar train station, and at a 15 minutes walk from the city centre. By métro (underground), you are in the main square and the famous Vieux Lille in 3 minutes ! There is a nearby hotel (3 minutes walk from our office) or you can find cheap accommodation facilities at the local youth hostel (15 minutes walk).
